The Stone Bake Oven Company began with one simple idea from our founder, Tom Gozney: make it easy for people to enjoy amazing stone-baked food at home and in professional kitchens. What started as a passion for great food and well-built ovens soon grew into a trusted name in stone baking.
As Tom developed new designs and pushed the boundaries of what an oven could do, his work evolved into the Gozney brand, now known worldwide for high-performance ovens and unforgettable cooking experiences.
In the next chapter of the story, Tom sold The Stone Bake Oven Company to Gavin Prosser — the very person who had been manufacturing the ovens from day one. Because Gavin has always been hands-on with the design and production, the company has stayed true to its roots:

Today, under Gavin’s ownership, The Stone Bake Oven Company continues to do everything in-house, combining traditional stone-baking principles with modern craftsmanship, reliability, and performance. We’re proud to build every oven ourselves and even prouder to see them at the heart of so many great food moments.
