September Oven of the Month – Tim Joslyn

It’s time for another oven of the month and it’s the turn of Tim Joslyn’s Mezzo 76 Kit. We just adore his outdoor eating space which is complete with an outdoor fridge, barbecue and of course his wood fired oven. Even his dog is a fan of the build! He’s also been creating some fantastic pizzas, bread, meringue and much more!

Here’s what Tim had to say… 

Since the oven has been installed (and the kit gave our builders an easy job) we’ve noticed a lot more people ‘passing through’ our house at mealtimes. Cooking for large groups is a doddle with lunch for 25 completed recently with little to no advance preparation.

Each time we fire it up, the pizzas are just the start of the cooking journey. A typical routine might be pizzas on Saturday night, use the residual heat to slow cook meat on through Sunday day, chuck in a log late afternoon to cook the potatoes and vegetables and still have enough heat on Monday morning to make meringue!”
