Stone Bake Oven Sealant — added weather protection for unrendered ovens.

Our Stone Bake Oven Sealant is designed to give your wood-fired oven added protection from the weather if you choose not to insulate and render it. It creates a water-resistant finish that helps reduce moisture absorption, protecting the oven surface and helping to lower the risk of cracking over time.
Easy to apply and clear in finish, the sealant will not affect the natural colour of your oven. One litre will last for a number of years, making it a simple and practical way to help protect your oven and keep it in better condition outdoors.
For best results, apply generously with a paint brush when the oven is cold, after its first firing. We recommend applying at least twice a year, or more if needed, and allowing 24 hours before using the oven again.
Please note that this product is for weather protection only. It does not make the oven suitable for painting, even with heatproof paint. If you want to paint your oven, it must first be insulated and rendered to help avoid cracking.
