It’s ideal when the flue outlet needs to be repositioned — for example, bringing the flue run into a more central location above the oven, or working around beams, walls, or a canopy opening.
Because it’s twin-wall insulated, this bend is the correct choice where the flue passes through, or close to, combustible materials or enclosed structures such as walls, ceilings, roofs, timber frames, or insulated enclosures. The insulated construction helps reduce heat transfer to surrounding materials, improving safety and supporting a compliant installation.
