Primo/Mezzo Render Kit

The render kit is an additional extra to build your oven in once it has been insulated. The off-white render mix is used in the manuals for a render finish on insulated ovens.

If you wish to paint your oven for an alternative aesthetic finish, insulating and rendering is essential. Painting directly onto our core oven domes will cause cracking (even with heatproof paint). We would advise adding the insulation and render kit to your order if you wish to paint your oven.

The render kit includes 3 bags of render for the Primo/Mezzo, as well as a glass fibre mesh to give your render a skeletal structure. Mix your render with water as instructed on the back of the bags and apply 2 layers, totaling 20-30mm thickness

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to render your oven, you must insulate it first. Rendering directly onto our core oven domes can cause cracking.
