The differences between a Kit and a Go oven

We often get our customers wondering whether they should buy one of our Kit or Go ovens and which one would suit their needs the best. We thought we would explain the difference between them and the benefits of each to help make your decision easier.

Ready to Go OvensFallone Family- September Oven Of The Month

Our Go ovens simply mean that you build your oven and as the name suggests, once assembled, it is ready to go. These ovens don’t come with insulation materials as they are designed for customers who want to use the oven in its core form and don’t want to undertake too much of a DIY task.

The benefits

One of the greatest benefits of a Go oven is that they are quick and easy to assemble, meaning you can get cooking in your oven straight away. This is ideal if you can’t wait to host your very first pizza party! We also sell stands that harbor our Go ovens, which is a fantastic alternative if you don’t want to build your own. Not only are the stands simple to assemble and stylish but they will easily fit into smaller garden spaces.

Build your own Kit OvensPrimo Kit

Our build your own kit ovens are slightly different to our Go range, as alongside the oven itself you also receive the insulation materials needed to build it in. This includes insulation wool, insulation board and a pre-fabricated archway. Our Kit range is ideal for those who enjoy a DIY task or want to incorporate their oven into a specific design.

The benefits

One of the really great things about our Kit oven is that once built in their heat retention increases to 24 hours+. This means that you not only get more cooking time per fire up, but can utilise other cooking techniques such as slow cooking and overnight roasting. The design possibilities are also endless with our Kit ovens. Even though we offer advice on certain finishes, customers in the past have certainly been creative and have achieved a whole host of render finishes and brick designs. We’ve even had a few bright purple domes!
