Stone Bake’s Summer Food Festival Guide 2016

As you know by now, we’re massive foodies here at Stone Bake HQ and we try to get to as many food festivals as we can. We’ve done our research and narrowed it down to four food festivals we’re dying to attend this summer.

The Great Dorset Chilli Festival

If you’re looking for: Anything chilli!dfbh

When: Saturday 30th July – Sunday 31st July 2016

Where: Giles House, Dorset

Entry Price: Adult: £8.00 Children(11-16yrs): £3.00

Opening times: 10am – 4pm

At Stone Bake HQ, we’re all huge fans of chillies, so when we noticed that this festival is right on our doorstep, we had to give it a mention. If you’re looking for anything chilli related, this festival is definitely the one for you. To add to the spicy line up, there’s going to be live music, drink stalls and local ice creams to cool the mouth.

Foodies Festival with Top Chefs

If you’re looking for: Family fun, tons of food and great entertainmentfhg

When: Friday 5th August – Sunday 7th August 2016

Where: Inverleith Park, Edinburgh

Entry Price: Three Day Ticket: £20.00 One Day Ticket: from £10.00

Opening times: Friday 5th August: 11am – 7pm
Saturday 6th August: 10am – 8pm
Sunday 7th August: 10am – 7pm

Foodies Festival with Top Chefs is another food festival that tours the length of the UK and this year we want to visit the Edinburgh festival the most. It has so much to offer from the Chef’s Theatre, the drink’s theatre, a BBQ Arena, a live entertainment stage, a selection of top chefs and fun cookery courses for children. We guarantee it will be a great day out!

Clitheroe Food Festival

If you’re looking for: World cuisine and street foodfgh

When: Saturday 13th August 2016

Where: Clitheroe, Lancashire

Entry Price: Free

Opening times: 9am – 4.30pm

This one-day festival will not disappoint as they have a huge range of different cuisines to try, pop-up bars and live music. You can purchase and take home the finest Lancashire produce and keep the kids happy at the Castle Field fayre.

BBC Good Food Festival

If you’re looking for: All things food, expert tips from well known chefsPicture1

When: Saturday 27th August – Monday 29th August 2016

Where: Hampton Court Palace, Surrey

Entry Price: To be announced

Opening times: 10am – 6pm

The BBC Good Food Festival tours the country all year round and is the perfect day out for those of you who love all things food! This year the festival is being held in the most beautiful location- Hampton Court Palace, meaning it’s really not one to miss out on. Alongside the picturesque location, the festival also attracts a whole host of TV chefs who offer book signings, interviews and demonstrations in the summer kitchen theatre. If it’s shopping you enjoy, there’s a wide variety of stands selling a whole host of food and drink options. A great day out to enjoy with all the family!
